Cornmeal Bread Recipe



Ingredients:
1 cup makai aata (corn meal)
1/2 cup wheat flour
Salt, to taste
Butter, as required




Directions:
Mix together the corn meal, wheat flour and salt. Mix in sufficient lukewarm water, a little at a time to make a medium soft dough. Divide the dough into equal portions. Now roll each dough with a rolling pin and shape into a small chapati. Carefully place the makai Ki roti onto a flat pan (tava) and put butter on top. Toast until it turns golden brown and serve immediately.
