2 egg whites
1 ½ cups sugar
6 Tablespoons water
6 large quartered marshmallows
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
¼ teaspoon cream of tarter
How to Make It
Separate the egg whites and
cut the large marshmallows into quarters. You can add these ingredients
into a medium size mixing bowl. Add the sugar and water to the bowl and
then stir lightly to moisten the sugar and then set aside until needed.
Using
a double boiler with boiling water you will add the above mixture and
begin cooking while using an electric mixer to beat the mixture for
about 10 minutes or until the mixture begins to form stiff peaks.
Remove
the top pot of the double boiler you are using from the heat and then
stir in the vanilla flavoring and the cream of tartar. Beat on high for
about 5 minute or until the mixture is thick. You want the marshmallow
frosting to reach a good spreading consistency for frosting any
cupcakes, cakes, or snacks you prepare with it.
